La Plate-forme Charleroi-Palestine<\/a> avait install\u00e9 un stand Palestine dans le parc Nelson Mandela \u00e0 Monceau-sur-Sambre. C’\u00e9tait \u00e9videmment aussi l’occasion d’\u00e9voquer cet autre prisonnier politique, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah<\/a>, r\u00e9sistant libanais pour la Palestine. Georges Abdallah est emprisonn\u00e9 lui depuis pr\u00e8s de 38 ans en France.<\/p>\n

\"Stand<\/p>\n

Alors que l’ambiance dans le parc \u00e9tait plut\u00f4t festive (huit mariages \u00e9taient c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9s dans le ch\u00e2teau du parc), cela n’a pas emp\u00each\u00e9 des familles de s’arr\u00eater au stand, de s’inscrire pour nos futures activit\u00e9s (et m\u00eame de nous offrir des friandises). Des flyers pour la lib\u00e9ration de Georges Abdallah et pour le boycott d’Isra\u00ebl leur ont \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\"Rencontres<\/p>\n

Des musiciens, participant \u00e0 un de ces mariages, ont m\u00eame salu\u00e9 notre pr\u00e9sence dans le parc en jouant un air de musique traditionnelle alg\u00e9rienne et en appelant au boycott d’Isra\u00ebl.<\/p>\n

Alors que beaucoup d’habitants de la r\u00e9gion sont partis en vacances ou \u00e9taient sur le retour, ce moment convivial dans le parc Nelson Mandela nous a permis de faire de nouvelles rencontres.<\/p>\n
