Younes \u00e9tait devenu le plus ancien prisonnier palestinien, apr\u00e8s que son cousin <strong>Karim Younes<\/strong> avait \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 le 5 janvier dernier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samidoun adresse ses salutations et ses hommages \u00e0 Maher Younes pour ses ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9termination et de r\u00e9sistance derri\u00e8re les barreaux en tant que dirigeant du mouvement de lib\u00e9ration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-50672 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/charleroi-pourlapalestine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Maher-Younis.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"418\" height=\"314\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/charleroi-pourlapalestine.be\/index.php\/tag\/samidoun\/\"><strong>Samidoun<\/strong><\/a>, 19 janvier 2023<\/p>\n<p>Dans la foul\u00e9e imm\u00e9diate de sa lib\u00e9ration des prisons de l\u2019occupation,<strong> Maher Younes<\/strong> s\u2019est rendu au <strong>cimeti\u00e8re d\u2019Ara<\/strong>, dans sa ville natale en <strong>Palestine 1948 occup\u00e9e<\/strong>, pour visiter la tombe de son p\u00e8re, et c\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli par son cousin Karim.<\/p>\n<p>Sa lib\u00e9ration a lieu apr\u00e8s plusieurs jours d\u2019attaques incessantes des forces d\u2019occupation contre sa famille et, parmi ces attaques figurent de multiples menaces d\u2019arrestation au cas o\u00f9 des c\u00e9l\u00e9brations auraient lieu en public autour de sa mise en libert\u00e9, surtout si elles sont accompagn\u00e9es de drapeaux palestiniens. En m\u00eame temps, ses fr\u00e8res et nombre de ses proches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 emmen\u00e9s \u00e0 des fins d\u2019interrogatoire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les hauts responsables de l\u2019occupation ont ordonn\u00e9 que d\u2019imposants effectifs de la police, des unit\u00e9s sp\u00e9ciales et des unit\u00e9s de renseignement soient d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s \u00e0 Ara et dans les parages de la maison familiale des Younes afin d\u2019emp\u00eacher par la force toute forme de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration en l\u2019honneur de la lib\u00e9ration de Maher.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deux jours avant sa lib\u00e9ration, Maher Younes a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 pour interrogatoire et plac\u00e9 ensuite <strong>en isolement<\/strong> afin d\u2019emp\u00eacher une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration collective de sa lib\u00e9ration en compagnie de ses camarades prisonniers. Les gardes ont envahi sa section dans la prison du (d\u00e9sert du) N\u00e9guev et l\u2019ont emmen\u00e9 ensuite dans un endroit inconnu sur le moment. Toutefois, malgr\u00e9 cela, de nombreuses personnes venues de la ville ont essaim\u00e9 vers la maison de Younes pour l\u2019accueillir avec amour et honneur \u00e0 l\u2019issue des 40 ann\u00e9es qu\u2019il avait pass\u00e9es derri\u00e8re les barreaux de l\u2019occupation.<\/p>\n<p>Les images de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration en l\u2019honneur de <strong>Karim Younes<\/strong>, il y a quinze jours, et qui refl\u00e9tait la volont\u00e9 in\u00e9branlable des prisonniers et du peuple palestiniens ainsi que leur profond enracinement dans la terre de Palestine en d\u00e9pit d\u2019un si\u00e8cle de colonisation, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 suivies d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de menaces de la part des responsables de l\u2019occupation (entre autres Itamar Ben-Gvir), y compris un ordre d\u2019interdiction d\u2019arborer le drapeau palestinien et des menaces du ministre sioniste de l\u2019Int\u00e9rieur Aryeh Deri de d\u00e9choir aussi bien Karim que Maher Younes de leur nationalit\u00e9.
