Georges Abdallah<\/strong><\/a> est un militant communiste libanais emprisonn\u00e9 en France depuis 1984 qui a gard\u00e9 intactes ses convictions r\u00e9volutionnaires en d\u00e9pit de 40 ann\u00e9es de prison. L\u00e9galement lib\u00e9rable depuis 1999 et d\u00e9tenu \u00e0 la prison de Lannemezan, il est devenu le plus ancien prisonnier politique d\u2019Europe.<\/p>\n

Le 8 juin 2023, l\u2019avocat de Georges Abdallah, ma\u00eetre Jean-Louis Chalanset, a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 une demande de lib\u00e9ration conditionnelle expulsion devant le juge d\u2019Application des Peines de Paris. Le tribunal d\u2019application des peines tiendra audience \u00e0 Lannemezan le 7 octobre<\/strong> prochain afin de statuer sur cette demande.<\/p>\n

Rappelons que deux lib\u00e9rations ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 prononc\u00e9es, mais rejet\u00e9es par le parquet et que la derni\u00e8re avait \u00e9t\u00e9 conditionn\u00e9e par un arr\u00eat\u00e9 d\u2019expulsion qui n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 par le ministre de l\u2019Int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019\u00e9poque, Manuel Valls.<\/p>\n

Une nouvelle fois, cette \u00e9ch\u00e9ance judiciaire est un appel \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper notre mobilisation solidaire pour mettre un terme \u00e0 une d\u00e9tention fondamentalement politique. En ce sens, une nouvelle manifestation nationale est organis\u00e9e le samedi 26 octobre prochain \u00e0 14 h \u00e0 Lannemezan<\/strong> et des initiatives seront organis\u00e9es dans les semaines \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n
