Nazmiyeh<\/strong>, la fille a\u00een\u00e9e, s\u2019occupe de leur m\u00e8re, une veuve sujette \u00e0 d\u2019\u00e9tranges crises de d\u00e9mence, tandis que son fr\u00e8re Mamdouh<\/strong> s\u2019occupe des abeilles du village.<\/p>\n

Mariam<\/strong>, leur jeune s\u0153ur aux magnifiques yeux vairons, passe ses journ\u00e9es \u00e0 \u00e9crire en compagnie de son ami imaginaire.<\/p>\n

Lorsque les troupes isra\u00e9liennes se regroupent aux abords du village, Beit Daras<\/strong> est mis \u00e0 feu et \u00e0 sang, et la famille doit prendre la route, au milieu de la fum\u00e9e et des cendres, pour rejoindre Gaza<\/strong> et tenter de se reconstruire dans l\u2019exil.<\/p>\n

Seize ans plus tard, Nur,<\/strong> la petite-fille de Mamdouh,<\/strong> s\u2019est install\u00e9e aux \u00c9tats-Unis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tomb\u00e9e amoureuse d\u2019un m\u00e9decin qui travaille en Palestine<\/strong>, elle d\u00e9cide de l\u2019y suivre.<\/p>\n

Susan Abulhawa<\/strong> est une femme de lettres palestinienne et activiste palestinienne, auteur du roman et best-seller international, Les matins de J\u00e9nine<\/a> (Buchet\/Chastel 2008).<\/p>\n

En 2012, elle publia un recueil de po\u00e9sie : \u00ab My voice sought the wind \u00bb.<\/a><\/p>\n

Son dernier roman s\u2019intitule The Blue Between Sky and Water<\/a> (Le bleu entre le ciel et l\u2019eau \u2013 Bloomsbury, 2015), et ses droits ont \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9d\u00e9s pour \u00eatre traduits dans 21 langues.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Elle est aussi fondatrice de Playgrounds for Palestine<\/a> (Terrains de jeu pour la Palestine), une ONG <\/strong>au profit des enfants.<\/div>\n
